Well, I guess it's a personal thing. I know when I'm playing OK, and when I'm not. It's still music, but not up to my own standard. If it works for others, then that's good. I had hoped that it would sound OK, otherwise wouldn't have posted it. Just sharing my feelings about where I was at when doing this and the frustration of this being the best I could offer after recording so many tunes that were really bad.

You know, when I feel the way you do, I buy a good wine and a fine cigar. But I really can understand. I sometimes feel like a writer in front of a blank page, especially after doing a nice song.

Probably should have played "African talking drum". Very kind of you, but I'm not impressed. Probably shouldn't have posted, but it's been a while and not much I've tried recently has worked.

Thanks Marc. You've tuned into the one aspect of my playing right now that hopefully is still OK. Not meshing with the metal right now...all a bit of a fight due to lack of playing.

Really should be apologizing for not doing this up to a better standard. Was the only track I felt was almost OK after recording with 10+ other templates. A bit frustrated, but wanted to snuggle up to your wonderful warm sound and see if I could at least capture the feel.
