Rush Hour
It’s taken me a while to get around to this one with just trying to work the time feel from off to on in the chord transition and make a coherent (I hope) musical statement over it. I’ve left a whole section for another soloist and it could do with a bass too😎 Thanks to Mario for his excellent drumming and Marc for the inspirational chordal sequence. Thank you Luis. After I listened back to the track the multi tracked horns gave me the impression of a lot of traffic going one way and another😊 I love George too. One of my very favourite players and some of that stuff with Frank Zappa is quite amazing (from the whole band especially that live recording on video….do you know the one? The bass player sucking on his pipe etc) 😎❤️🙏☀️

Yeah! I have listened to George Duke for 2 years without stopping and I have taken a lot of material in his way of feeling what he improvises and in his way of reacting to musical situations and things that happen live
