Franco brings back the start of big band’s jamming the blues from the 1930’s through the 1940’s. They played it slow and fast and it was always swinging. My mother wanted me to play because she loved how Jimmy Dorsey looked holding a saxophone. Her uncle who played gave me lessons but on clarinet because he did not have a sax available.
