This is my first try. The sax is probably a bit too high in the mix.

Welcome to Wikiloops Patrick!! great jam and thanks for choose one of mine to release their music!!;). Over time we learn to remix the instruments to balance them with the rest, here at some point the sound of the sax is saturated, but rarely :)

Welcome, Patrick!!!!!! Very nice!!!! It takes time with mixing. Your sound is great and could be slightly lower in the mix but I like that it is so upfront. Very cool ideas too!!!! Have fun!!!!

Hi Patrick, :)
First I would like to welcome you to the WikiLoops site. This musical structure of Glezbass is a very good choice for your addition which by the way is really very pleasant to listen to <3. Considering it's a first mix I think it's very excellent! Besides, if you wish, you can add your Sax track separately in the HD single track section to allow other musicians to make another balanced Remix with their additions.
My friendly greetings,:W

Thanks Wade. I found out about wikiloops from Cafe Saxophone. I think you had some input to that.

Yes, I'd posted 300 tracks for the players there to practice. This is of course the source. Developing your ability to play by ear is the key, and having a variety of novel templates forces you to react to what you hear instead of playing repeated patters to the same old tunes.
It's a shame more players haven't realized the importance of this, but great to have you here. I can't think of a better exercise to help a player grow. +0
