to be true, it sounds to me a very nice classic guitar piece. It is not related with roots of Portuguese music. It's my humble opinion. ;)

As I told Wade, I have no roots in Portuguese music and also not in classical music. (Can't even read sheets.) But I agree that it sounds a lot like a classic guitar tune ;)

Hi,Cantaloopo, your tune reminds me some musical classical pieces by Fernando Sor I used to practice when I studied classic guitar 30 years ago. I think Wade is hearing in your tune some harmonies used by portuguese "fado". Wade has a very very good hear, I don't know he can be right :D:D:D. Thanks for the flowers, Wade. In fact I never was great in making up melodies or being a soloist. And I don't know much of Portuguese music either, so I can not compare. And I never had any education in classical music, may be in another life ... therefore most of my tunes are harmonically more of the simple kind. This one is an exception! :)
