Forever Love
Stunning line up again, great voice of Moonchild, with the combining chordprogression-powers of Oliv and Marceys and the pointon grooves with some nice challenges to go with it, like the paradiddle with the syncopated stop and the Martin's Gaddish ending of the chorus part. And I'm still a sucker for the 4 on the floor choruses as it's so effective, so simple but so often overlooked...
Way more challenging than I expected but still uploadworthy I guess. Have fun and feel ...

Thanks Oliv, it was more challenging than expected ar first sight. Maybe I was too focused on the choruses when I spotted it... ;)

Yeah man! Your drive is great, love the way you walk over the track, and took a timing that gave the bass his own cool spot! Very cool, surprise to hear the synthy solo on it too....almost forgot about that.......

Thanks Marc! Yes I downloaded the single track so it turned out too short. Maybe some notes are a bit overdone but I kinda liked what it added to the last chorus so I decided to mix it in anyway LOL

You are always the dude for the gig, FS. Always taste, always bottom end to die for. Once again, you play beautifully with that wonderful 'honk' to boot. You are a such a musical player and I often wonder why you doubt yourself!
Anyway, you got my 'Gadd' verse bits! Utter kudos for spotting it, sir! +1

Thanks Martin. If I ever got musical education it was in my years at the drumchoir that's probably why I always have an ear open for the drum-patterns, love triples and their variations. The paradiddle I recall sometimes to use between two fingers on a 'not so challenging one note pumping' song to keep me focused LOL

And that constant doubt is something I guess I have gotten used to and will have live with it. Luckily it's not life threatening and won't prevent me to keep on trying and exploring. ;)

Haughtiness line and sound of bass. We understand better why your pseudo is called "Fivestringer" . Why to get a fifth string to don't use it ? :D

Thanks bassman! That bass and his sound is one of the best things that happened to me ;) And with having 5 strings it's a pleasure to have a choice downwards when you feel like it and the song can handle it. Nowadays the rare occasion I am 'forced' to use a 4 string I almost feel handicapped :D

Thanks, but too much credit for me Chris. The rest of this gang is hot on this track. I'm just trying to feed some bottom, let the feet tap and the booty wiggle. ;)

Of course but honestly your bass line is “busy” and light in a same time with groove AND swing :)

Thanks for the compliment :), especially coming from another bass player who possibly will hear even more of the subtle nuances of the instrument. ;)

That's very good Fivestringer ! You have the groove, the harmony and the sound, and you are perfectly inside the group (a good one ). Congratulations !
