I added jazz guitar chords just to the green solo section. I think whilst the Hammond is soloing there is nothing to keep the chords going -- this is what you would have here in a live trio setup.

i understand what you're saying about the support :) ... however here is the way i processed this part : i think your solo perfectly outlines the harmony used in the changes so why add the obvious ? ;) the rythm support right ... i find the lack of this support (the hammond no longer does it and not replacing it with the guitar) creates a space that shines a special light on the hammond solo ;)
you're right though most jazz trios (or quartets) would do it this way ! guess i'm a kind of black sheep hehe +1

Nice rhythm. It did not occur to me to provide rhythm behind your solo. All I can say in my defense is that your solo is so nice, a rhythm guitar did not enter my mind :)
