Redo of a song I tried last night, some parts I tried and did not like so here is try no. 2. tomorrow I might have to try again ;)

Its a strange one. I ended up i think doing fretted and then fretless bass on the drifting/airy parts (doing slidey things). Keep it up. Good challenge on this one and sounds good. +1

KMstar This may be the hardest song I hav tried. there is a lot of dynamics to consider here that really screw with a bass line

LeftTheLoops9-18 I remember it now. I was on a roll but it stumped me a day or two. I used fretted but went to a hollow chorus to make the bass light and airy and did the slidey things. Try a chorus effect to lighten up and get dreamy. Its a dreamy song. Depends what your going for. I called it "the snake song": as the sliding bass with chorus "slithered". +0

KMstar I went just strait through the amp without effects, doubled every note I could by playing its octave along with it where I could and hoped for the best ;) the reverb on the bass was added in during mastering so its on everything. What is the name of your take I would love to hear it now that I dropped this one in the archives. I have learned a lot from you ;) +1

LeftTheLoops9-18 The Boss Chorus should be perfectly fine.I use a 1990 Boss Octaver I think beats any digital octaver by miles. Some of those pedals are great! +1
