The idea is to go back to the original, which is what you did, however you used the number designation of first track you did, which then shows that you're added to that one so it's supposedly INCLUDING what you did on the first one, and not a separate take. It's just a matter of using the right track number. Send me a PM if you don't understand this and I'll give examples of how it should work.
