There once was a panda, her name was Amanda, black and white, cuddly and cute.
But she lived all alone in the place she called home with a diet of leaves and the odd bamboo shoot.
She wanted a mate but the chances weren\'t great with just hours for her to conceive.
With a short mating season she had every reason to find a boy that wouldn\'t leave.
She spread her best scent round the trees, it was meant - to draw in a male instantly.
She squeaked out her call, she gave it her all \"Geegee, wowow and eeee!
She barked, moaned and grunted, Amanda had hunted wherever she thought he might be
But at last she conceded the man that she needed was not in her vicinity.

With her efforts in vain and her time on the wane Amanda had closed her front door.
Then out of thin air she saw a big bear, sure enough twas a sex hungry boar.
They went on a date, they just couldn\'t wait and in nearly 100 days
Rub-a-dub-dub, she gave birth to a cub, a sweet little son she could raise.
Now everything\'s good in the Chinese wood for that desperate panda, Amanda
She\'s happy at last, in fact life is a blast, sharing bamboo shoots with her Son Alexander
