Talking Summer Blues
Summer hasn't officially arrived yet but don't blink, it'll be over before you can say "where'd it go?"

Very well done-I really enjoy it when you do this style buddy. Seems older I get more I say "where'd it go", e.g: the last 70+ years, my car keys, etc.:D:W<3

I'm not a native Calboy but having lived here for more than half my life now, feel like I am. :):W

Good that you can be OK there and enjoy. It was special for me when young as a relatively sparse place where one could go to Yosemite, the beach, or just about anywhere without crowds and be a part of those wonderful places (1950s/60s). I'm now living in a place roughly the size of California with less than on tenth the population. Suits my need for space and hermit tendencies!

Sounds nice.
Yes, even since the late 70s when I moved here there's been a big change in the population and traffic, we are lucky enough to live in a less dense foothill area about 50mins from Yosemite and stay away from the big city as much as possible. +1

The Sierra Nevada Mountains are amazing, but with climate change also potentially a tinder box. Some scary times for the giant sequoias. Last area I lived in was Ventura County. Was getting too crowded with LA spillover. I found myself in a negative spiral fighting development. There had to be better things to do with one's life...
