Il n'y a pas encore de remix de cette session !
Just a short jam with a voodooking template from the vault to try out my new Epiphone ES-335 (inspired by Gibson series).

I have an Epi Dot with Seth Lover pickups and love it! Sounds great! That tone is unmistakable. Welcome to the club!

Thanks Joe. That's more or less my plan. Play it stock for a while because the pickups it came with actually sound pretty good but I'll probably change them down the road. This one will go to a tech for the work though because I don't have the patience for fishing the electronics through the f-hole. :D

The stock pickups do sound good. Seth Lovers are very smooth and the coils are not coated just like the original 1950 pickups. I would also consider Seymour Antiquity. The tone can be heard in the lead guitar for the Stones “Can’t you Hear me knocking”.
The wiring for mine came from Creamtone.com
Congrats! It does sound like a hollow body 335.
There is a whole community out there that swears by the Epi 335 over a Gibson. Jazzpick from here turned me on to them . The only thing is “Don’t drop it”. The neck at the headstock is very thin. Quality wise that guitar can be every bit as good or better than a Gibson which has more quality issues than the Epi. I love mine. I really love that sound you have ! +1

I do need to be careful with this one. The headstock angle is slightly less dramatic than my Les Paul but the wood is definitely thinner in that area where they break.

Of course! I'm a big 'ol Gilmour fan. This combines that Gilmour tone with some texas blues style - it's really amazing.
