She'll never know (drums added)
Some drums from the sequencer (same as #251304) for this jazz ballad. Thank you Thierry and Jypeka for your nice solos, lots of French jazz vibes here ;)

In my mind there is a scenery in an elegant coffee house where people would go to meet and listen to some music in the background - maybe in Paris somewhen in the late 30s…

Would love to have been there then! Was in Paris in the 1950s, was mostly beatnik coffee houses and the entertainment was poetry reading (didn't understand French so lost on me).

It's a matter of time... when you're lucky enough to find a love in a foreign country the chances are high to develop language skills including the words used in poetry ;)

Ha ha :D You are both right, this track in very French while listening well. Musicians, we all carry deep within us our musical identity, which made our grandparents dance and you don't have to rub a lot for it to appear. Michael you're right, finding love abroad helps a lot. I who lived a long time in oceanic Africa, I discussed with an old native in France who was surprised to hear me speak his language, and he asked me how I had learned. I replied "on the bed". He cried laughing.

Haha :D Well... each language has its own beauty that you learn best when emotions come into play. Some languages have terms that have no one-to-one relationship in your native language - and if you then later are able to start "thinking" in the foreign language instead of your own then you're over the hill ;)

It's exactly that. It is not the thought that makes the language, it is the language that makes the thought :D

Fun fact: back home in Germany after one week in Scotland with only Scots I woke up at night because it sounded like if something fell down and I found myself asking what it was - in perfect Scottish English :D

Hahaha :D You may be right! Good thing about the Scottish is that they are very polite and I think so was the Ghost. Nothing was broken ;)
