I tried to keep on top of tracks of interest during my absence so this is one from my ToDo playlist which I fancied a pop at although I see it's had plenty of adds so I'm probably aiming nowhere here. Went for the U2-style approach. Four-on-floor kick with floor tom on verses, bring it up for the choruses. Keep it simple, try and keep it pounding. Fantastic to have a real drummer of your talent join! It really helps the dynamics - you can build it up so nicely and then let it drop back down again. U2 style is perfect - it was what I imagine in my head originally! +2
