Strutterdumpf (Acoustic Reggae)
Il n'y a pas encore de remix de cette session !
First I discovered Mr. Baer's #1983 Strutterdumpf-humpf-humpf, then I saw that Rich had added a nice guitar in #1984, asking if someone was up for an acoustic Reggae... well you asked for it, so here's my upright ;) Anyone else maybe? This is fun... :)
HD is my bass with count-in as always. Thanks for all the fun friends, and I hope you'll like my little addition :)

Thank you Mario, very kind of you :) And it's physically very demanding to play, I should practise that more often to develop more strength (and think less on my neighbours, that thing can be loud) :D

I bought an electric double bass, but maybe because of my bad technique and the size of my hand I suffered from pain in my tendons, but I loved playing it!!! now to get rid of the desire I play with URbass VST and at least I enjoy something!;)

That's cool Mario, electric upright can be very nice :) Maybe you should get some lessons to avoid getting used to some problems with your hands? I used to back up for an upright player who developed typewriter's cramp - he had to get an operation, and that can last half a year before you can play again... which e-upright did you get?

Ah I see - and I was interested in that one as well (maybe also for my brother). Can you bow it? Haven't seen or touched it yet, our local music store here doesn't haven these (and Kontrabassatelier in Frankfurt doesn't either, they have a much more expensive Eminence Upright) :) Good choice on the Thomastiks, I have Spirocore Lights as well :)

I used to play the Stagg on its standard foot, but there are supports on the market to play it inclined and fixed, because of its cost it is not a bad option!!! the change of strings supposes a great improvement of sound and sustain

ich hab gerade mit der Gitarre versucht, eine Melodie zu finden, ist mir aber nicht gelungen. LIegt daran, dass mir die Harmoniewelt hier noch nicht vertraut genug ist. Hab ich noch eine Lücke :)
