I am really happy about your comment. My island, Reunion, is populated by many different ethnic groups (white n black people, african, chinese, muslim, malabar, etc...) who try to live well together. The genres you mention are integrated into our way of living here ... Our music comes from slavery! Hence probably this truth that you feel!
