☾Mechanical Turk☽
The "Mechanical Turk" was an 18th century chess playing machine which turned out to be an elaborate hoax. On the outside it gave the appearance of being a mechanical automaton that played chess but, in fact, it was just a guy inside the box making the moves. See https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Turk
What has this got to do with anything? I dunno, but make your own inferences, as this is a glitched-up reworking of this fantastic live drum track. I've used a wide range ...

Superbly Created Dan what a level to take it too and a feel to give over WDs great drums, cool inspired theme and so clever how you've automated yet kept every ounce of the live feel.....creativity like this is why I admire your talent so much:D<3:W

That's really sweet. Cool sounds and a feel good track. Nice I also appreciate the history lesson you built in to accompany the title. I think people should use music to educate about history more. I think about jamming bass to public domain speeches and writings sometimes. Any idea where I can get historical spoken word audio to jam with?

Nice idea, Dirk! The British Library has a good archive you could look at - https://sounds.bl.uk/ (Oral History would work).

Most amusing! Got that mechanical thing going on for sure, but kind of more like a robot trying to dance.

When I first seen this site I just could not believe the things you could do with other musicians, gone from strength to strength and its all dong to everyone as great musicians, long may it continue.
