Yesterday, I spent lot of time reading stuffs about how to eq the slap bass because after mixing the track I was not satisfied about the final product .... So, the most important thing I have learned is that I need to use a multiband compressor, mandatorily :D

I chose the one supplied with the Reaper DAW: it has good feedbacks by users ;)

Effectively the final result is something new for me :W :Y the sound of my bass has a good presence, rounded hot lows and cutting highs <3

Maybe is that a good technic for EQing a bass normally played with fingers? I'll try :D :W

Wade As a sax player I haven't got a clue about what works for bass. We have our own set of problems since we have to use a microphone. Must be much easier to just plug in gadgets and turn knobs. +1
