We could walk upon the water
if you'll meet me at low tide
when the days are getting shorter
and the baby limpets hide
in the rockpools,
like sea urchins
we could gaze along the shore,
we might spend the whole day searching
be like children evermore.

Time and tide
they wait for no-one
soon the waves they will return,
like white horses
through the sand dunes
will we ever live and learn.
Trying to hold onto this moment
like a gull catches the breeze,
we will wonder where the time went
but we squander it with ease.
