The plan was to do a wee intro and a blistering guitar solo at the end, thereby leaving the bulk of the music making to Tom, who appears to know what he is doing. That sounded a little empty, so I got sucked into a few chords and fills and realized that being a session guitarist isn't as easy as it seems. WanHu Thanks Tom. I've belatedly discovered that Steven Morrissey, from the Smiths, used the same writing style: get talented musicians to do all the work up front and then warble some half-baked stream of consciousness over the top. He did quite well on it.:D +1
