123 123? what time stamp is this???
Guys, I need your help - especially drummers.
I want to set up my DAW for this time stamp, but what is it?? 3/4?? SOmething with a 3 or a six?? :O
Even better would be for one of you guys uplaoding a cool drum track for that so I can play along to it. And seeing that it has soe unusual thing going on, maybe a bridge section somewhere with a completely different beat would be cool...
Thanks, let's hear what you ...

3/4 if you want an off beat feel. 6/8 if you want the bass and snare to drive forward with a alternating pulse. Does that make sense? B) :)

yes I knew you'd say that, but in this case it does not help me setting a click on the DAW... the thing is, I want to lay down a rhythm track but without it, well my timing is notoriously sketchy, to put it mildly...

No more than straight simple 4/4 No idea what anyone else is hearing:o:D.....Unless of course you are looking to distill this into a more prog rock with some crazy and additional beats/accenting?? :W

Kind of a 5/4.
1 or 2 extra counts in 4/4 is my idea you rush a bit i don't hear no 3/4 ish beat :) set yor daw in 1/1 and th3n count afyer recording a few measures neatly in time. If not the drummers muat help. Cool led zep style riff! :D +2

Okay tee, I counted "1 and 2, 3 and 4 AND " in my head.
While your track played I pulled out my finger pad and opened ez drummer.
While your track played , I tapped out " one AND two ,three AND four AND "on the pad and then did a search for compatable drum beats. It came up all 2/4 time. I played a suggested drum rhythm and it kind of sorta maybe fell in line with what you played. Hope that helps.
The suggested beats were mostly country "train " style beats.
i feel its more "one AND two ,three AND Four AND" (Extra AND count at end) That puts me where Tom is at 5/4 though. +2

I’m listening to a drummer do 7/4 time as well and if you factor in the where you remove an AND count , seems likely. Pink Floyd Money is 7/4 timing.. it’ has same number of counts as what you play but the missing AND is in a different spot for emphasis.
