Inspired by @jmrukkers on it 1951 Martin sax, I tried to produce similiar sounds on my cheapo tenorsax... Not easy to play, but I think I got the basic idea now.

jmrukkers Nice sax, what mouthpiece do you use? Mix-wise the sax sounds good with the vocals, but I can hardly hear the piano and the organ, you could probably bring these up a fair bit for a more balanced sound +1

cschlote It is a Thomann TS-350 antique finish made somewhere in asia with a selfmade metal MPC (opening 2.3mm, length 10-12mm) and Rico Standard 2.

Inspired by your sax sound, I tried to reproduce something similiar on my horn, too ;-) I know, the horn, the MPC, the reed, the anatomy/geometrie of the playing person - all these factors form the sound of a sax. So I need to find it out myself anyway.

I will check the downmix again. On Headsets it sounds fine, but I couldn't check it on my PA (too late the night). +1

cschlote Manchmal müssen Titel gelöscht werden - insbesonders wenn es irgendwie mit Urheberrechte Anderer behaftet ist. Deswegen - am Besten nur eigene Musik-Suppe kochen.
Deswegen liebe ich WL - tausende Templates ohne Nachspielverbot, sogar eher mit Aufforderung zum Mitspielen ;-) +1
