Bad Juju feat Telecaster
Excellent template from Mark. I have changed to jazz style.
I think there has been a good track. Thank Mark!

Thanks Rob, it's a pleasure to receive a comment from an excellent guitarist like you. A hug

I really like the sound of this Telecaster. I used to have one many yers ago (I was 20) but I had to sell it to buy food... :D

I'm sorry by this lost.
I did not know the sound of that model.
It took me a while to get used to it but I think it's a matter of lowering treble and compression. <3 +0

Yes I like it. But I am surprised. I was sure it was a real bass. When I need to "play" bass, I use the Roland GR-55 synth with the Godin multiac SA nylon.

Thank you Jypeka. Last night I did not sleep much, so I started recording on Mark's excellent base. I'm glad you like it.

This great guitarist says that you do not have to play on the note of the chord, instead of that it is directing the melody towards the chord, that inspired me with this theme. +0

If you watch the video, for example 25.10 -->, the guitarist sings while playing. I've seen this many times, I've tried it and everything makes more sense. Also when my teacher came home and recorded it I did the same, a soft murmur. I think it's something from the brain, I don't know.

This is exactly the same advice I give to sax players, or anyone who wants to play music. You play as you would sing. Sax payers have unfortunately mostly learned by "finger memory" to just play licks and arpeggios that fit the "changes". They usually have no idea what notes they're playing, but think it's musical if they can just play those quickly. It's a musical teaching disaster, but unfortunately what's been happening for several generations now. My advice is to put the sax aside and sing a line, then pick up the sax and play it. You've got to be one with your instrument so that it IS YOUR VOICE.

It all started with a groove with the guitar, I dropped an octave to simulate a bass, I duplicated it and I took it down another octave -sound double bass- and the rest was simply following your masterful groove. God of the drums. <3
