How does one prepare for a 12 hour shift in time? Day is night, night is day. As I get older it gets worse. Will arrive several days early in hopes that's enough.

I will arrive the day before to Paris (7 hours flight), then the train to Cologne (4 hours) and I sleep there. The 30th I go to Steinfeld. I hope I will be in shape.

I hope that breaking up the journey works for you. I do it all in one shot with around 25 hours of flying time (2 flights) 5 hours of waiting in an airport for the next flight, and two train trips taking 3 1/2 hours plus waiting for trains. About 35 hours of traveling. I just hope that I'm not too grumpy!
