Acousticeg Yes I am a very big Al Di Meola fan. I used to do what they called woodshedding. I learned most of Elegant Gypsy and Casino that way. A few favorites are still Egyptian Danza Chasin' The Voodoo Flight Over Rio and Race With The Devil On a Spanish Highway. But the hardest to even get close to was Mediterranean Sundance. I stopped learning other peoples songs. But lately I feel the urge to get back into Al's and others music. +3

King1971 Al is a monster player for sure. I really try to emulate his playing from the Return to Forever days of the mid 1970’s. I may half assed emulate some of his lead runs, but you just totally nail his techniques masterfully. +1
