Dark Eyed Dancer
Trying to get back into a bit of flamenco with hand taps on the acoustic while playing. I forgot how hard it can be to pull that off. Using my Gretsch for this tune. Wrote this with the idea off different acoustics players playing for a few bars and then the next player would pick up right where the other left off. Kind of like a Al Di Meola John McLaughlin and Poco de Lucia kind of grove. Very ...

I have that album (al, john, paco, in san fransisco) That album is SICK. And more people need to listen to that album. It is truly the best music on the planet. Your playing here on this track is sublime.

I was lucky enough to see them play together years later when they united for the The Guitar Trio tour...which was mind blowing. The San Fransisco concert is my number one must listen album for any guitarist and my personal all time favorite.

Nice work. Cool hand taps. I've tried it but my guitars do not accommodate but I can feel it. I do ok on small bongos which I think would help me on guitar given the proper guitar.
Great album. Anything from those guys is out of this world. +1

I play my Ovation for this kind of music most of the time but Ovations suck for hand taps. The Gretsch has a satin finnish and is very Microphonic so it works very well for using it as a drum or bongo. lol
