Have a mini moan

Nothing too angry or aggressive, just little things that seem stupid or unnecessary.
What irritates you
What frustrates you
What needs to be said
Who can 'do better'
What do folk say that annoys you
What equipment needs re-designing
Whatever ?
I did have something in mind earlier now I've completely forgotten what it was. maybe someone will remind me.
I'd love to see a long list of moans... and try to limit it to lighthearted grumbles. All out wikiwar may be a thread for another day :)

I hate changing my guitar strings, such a task. I don't like it one bit :)
Those little tiny "x's" to close out ad windows, very annoying.

What irritates you
Bot's/Algos that put tickets in the pockets of profiteers and out of the hands of music fans
What frustrates you
Finding workable rhymes for "girl"
What needs to be said
You learn when you listen, people are born with 2 ears and only 1 mouth [Classic for a reason]
Who can 'do better'
Me
What do folk say that annoys you.
"I speak my own truth" - Love to hear an opinion but truth has an implicit burden of proof
What equipment needs re-designing
All of it. I'm an engineer, you need to trust me on this.

I agree about this "x'"s especially when you're just taking a little look at a page. I always try to read around the adds and through the dimmed text.

You and rootshell should get together for this moan, maybe change his strings while you're there :)

This is a nice response, you ticked all the boxes :W Talking about tickets reminded me about how it's impossible to buy tickets at the gate for a football game now, all has to be done online.
"girl" I always seem to use whirl and twirl... or change girl to lady and try shady or a near rhyme of maybe :)
Thanks for the other quotes, I need to think about those bassMonkey but I get the "engineer" thing, I have great trouble trying to open tins (cans) and I've bought so many different openers. :o

I sometimes have a silent inner mini moan when sounds outside my open headphones are louder than the ones inside, and when I even can't listen to all the wonderful music here...
Or when I want to record myself with the double bass (microphone), and the neighbours start drilling or someone thinks it's time to cut the lawn again...
Maybe I should live like the fool on the hill? ;)

How true, good moan wjl
I have the same moan when I keep my 'studio' door closed with a "Recording in progress" note on the door handle and someone decides to vacuum or accidentally comes in. I once made a really funny recording where I'd left all the interruptions on, builders, screaming kids, the dust cart loading, even a low flying helicopter :(

Well look for the hill Wolfgang, the first part is already in place ;)
But seriously, I totally get it. I am sooooooooo happy that I live in a country village, it's so quiet... I am probably the source of the loudest noise in our street :D

Yes that is true, and tickets are so expensive now, by the time you got the ticket, travel, beers, pie and maybe even a hotel room, that comes to a lot. What team do you watch?

I'm not saying which team I support Teegee, I don't want to be 'sent off' or given a yellow card. Enough to say that we were relegated last season, I'll let you work it out :)

Hmmm Stripes, white or blue? I think I heard a bit of Midlands in your voice, so I guess you are a fox. Right?

I dislike small print and it affects me in so many areas.
I keep a huge magnifying glass in my kitchen for reading things like timings, contents and instructions. Do you microwave with or without the film, do you stop to stir half way through etc.
I cant find 'use by' dates easily.... and finding a barcode to scan on self service checkouts is really hard sometimes.
Time for some more moans people... you know you want to.
PS, some people may want to moan at me for removing the Sunday "Question Time" thread.... but that was a 'one day only' special offer (to amuse myself :)

Just a Basement hobbyist but the hours of entertainment wikiloops has brought me and my guitar rig are worth so much more than my (father of 2 little ones) butt can give! Thanks Wikiloops keep up the great work (all of you musicians as well!).
