...better post this before I lose it again, multiple crashes, rebuilt again, suspect "free" VST uncompatible plugins with Cubase...guess you get what you pay for...lol...however I found a way to save my work by opening the corrupted file without activating and copy/pasting all tracks seperately and reassigning vst's, bit of a hassle but...
