thank you my friend. I have been wanting to do a duet for while, and Andrea was gracious enough to let me join her in song :)

thanks, Seth. Andrea and I are both as country as grits and gravy, so guess a song like this was meant to be :)

I hear ya. I said we are like grits and gravy, but personally I wouldn't touch grits LoL. Never tried the cornbread and gravy, but give me biscuits and gravy and I am a happy man :D

Thanks little cowpoke :) Just another limb on the tree we call country music.. although this is a little closer to the roots based on the fact I love Haggard, Jones, Hank Sr.. and the list goes on :)

Thanks Frankie. Was raised on this kind of music :) Would like to do more of it, although not sure how many older flavored country folks are on the loops :)

I come from a family of bluegrass and country pickers Don. I love old style country. The Louvin Brothers, Haggard & Jones, etc.

then we need to get a track (or two) going my friend :) I will try any kind of song from any genre, but country and bluegrass is my sweet spot.

I actually wrote and sang a bluegrass song for R1772, but he uses so many minor chords, I could not figure out a lead to play on it. if you get a chance, could you look at #98049 ? if anyone can figure out how to get some lead in there I think it would be you :)

And I fail to include probably my all time favorite, Marty Robbins. My list of favorite country guitar pickers is longer than my arm :)
I'm certain the occasion will present itself. If the song appeals to me at the moment I'll try to play. No matter the genre. +1

Well I perceived your comment "could have heard a pin drop" as a negative.
I experienced the negative to that statement in the 70's when the rock band I was playing with got cross booked at a country bar in Hazard, Kentucky.
After our first song (Black Sabbath cover) you could hear a pin drop. The silence was not one of awe of the band. We began to worry if we would make it out of there alive :) +1

lol, sounds like a scene from a blues brother movie. You guys should have broken out with "Stand by your man"lol. Hmmm, Hazard is not a nice place if they don't like you :@

but since we are sharing band nightmares: here is mine. Got a call, they needed a lead player badly. Went in and the bartender was singing at the top of his lungs "I Ain't got nobody" along with the blaring juke box. Two guys were mating in the bathroom, and two girls were fighting in the other bathroom with the door wide open. Was a fun night lol
