yup I bought stock in kleenex to try and make some sort of profit off the next 1000 songs I work on
seriously I have tracks with 400 listens and 4 thumbs, it does take its toll on the ego but on the bright side it helps keep me humble so I choose to see it that way LOL +1

Keep plugging at it KM .. here at the home front few thumbs and few listens. Not on Facebook so initially it might have some effect. I have a close buddy used to play in a band with he won't even give me listens . You're here for one reason on the Wiki to keep progressively getting better and have fun. These are lessons from an only child. Haha

I am just joking around with Jim about a conversation we had on the subject of the lack of interaction people have with the music they listen too. I always look at the number of listens and am thankful that my music has been heard by as many as it has been. It's just odd when you have hundreds of listens and only a few of the people gave a thumb. One explanation in my case is that a lot of my listens come from outside wiki by people not signed in. A percentage of the listens is me playing it on all the different audio sources I have, to try and learn to mix (still awful in my opinion)
