this is a WAAAY jazzier and looser version of a song I did in my band called Verve. As a matter of fact it hardly resembles it at all. The bass player and drummer wouldn't recognize it!

we'll see--sometimes getting adds is like winning the lottery. I hope Jeebsie the BASS master of these types of "progressive" comps would get a go bass thump!

Maybe he just wants you to work for it(playing hard to get). Try something more subtle, like offering to pay for it. Sometimes that works.
