free play both parts--meaning I hit record with no click and not really an idea---First track i played a couple of times to get used to the sound of the pedal--
Probably the 3rd try was the keeper(was in a hurry as I didn't want the wife to come in and say come to bed) and the second guitar, just his record and one take
Love for some drums and some keys and maybe some tight constrained horns.
THINK Bill Frisell!!!

wow amazing you improvised this! I know you're a King Crimson fan - I remember reading they improvised the track We'll Let You Know on the Starless and Bible Black album. Weston's bass line is killer on that :)

I dn't know a lot of their work--I have thrak and the early Discipline albums, but I am a fan!
I'll give that a listen...It's amazing when guys that play together a lot come together you can just hit record and get some great stuff. I liked to always start a show with an improvised jam to let the sound guys get the sound tight--hated wasting a rehearsed song with bad sound and jittery nerves! If we made it through that everything else was downhill! +1

The Wetton Buford Fripp period is my fav KC - Red, Starless, etc. They had that chemistry to jam stuff out :)

Didn't mean that you produce unclear sounding tracks, but a few of the ones in my DAW now where you have added to other tracks and you didn't have HD files, it tends to get a bit too muddy...but not your fault! :O
