It started with me jamming to this cool funky track that was in my to do list, and one thing lead to another. I looped the original track a little, it was too short. Then after I was finished I thought it probably would be cool to have some vocals, so I went hunting on Looperman and found a few cool bits by Anomalyj. So here we are, lets all get funked tonight ;)

TeeGee Thank you and thank you. Very happy about the mix comment, especially coming from you :) . Yes, JG Watson, thanks to the recent shoutbox discussion I rediscovered my love for his music. I will load it to my car mp3 player!! +0

Dick i discovered JG Watson to be pretty much the prototype funkster - it was like finding the missing link between bluesmen like p.e. Freddy King and later funk by folks like George Clinton to Maceo Parker. I knew the Meters, but the way JGW is introducing several elements which would later be called "rap" at some point is really remarkable.
Besides that, these white-breaded-bearded-boys in the watsonian institute band are a statement by themselfs, too.

TeeGee Interesting point. I always had in my head that G. Clinton (another one of my favourites) was the link between hiphop and Funk. +0

TeeGee Thanks man, I love this type of trip hop / chill out music. Your bass is so cool, I just had to... :) P.S. I would love it if you'd upload single tracks of your bass, would make it much better for mixing :) +2
