You decided to show everybody your Frank Zappa side with this track eh, Zachary?... You're the only one I know that can be improvising serious jazz based on andalusian folk music ala Miles Davis one hour, and then belt out face melting Rock lead guitar the next ;)

hey zac, you seem to quite a multi-talented person! Love your guitars sound, right in my face ;-) Its a bit loud compared to the rest of the "band". There is a lot of tracks I'd love to hear you add something. if you ever need a suggestion, let me know!

That's a good point Dick. Isn't one instrument being louder than the others one of the most common arguments in bands? Guitarists are always talking about getting a tone the "cuts through" the rest of the band... but really all the instruments should be mixed at the same level, so the music is one cohesive whole.

@scriptura: doing remixes like this will teach you a lot about where you belong with your instrument sound & loudneswise. its a hard but rewarding way to find out ;-)
I'd say, one might judge the proffessionality of musicians by the number of times they turn themselfes a little lower in volume during a show.
Never the less, I do like this guitar track. +0

Janos
yeah. producing a good-mix or playing not to forward seems to be a tough Task. Even the great Animal encounters some problems from time to time: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0yvHWyvexZA&feature=related
with this in mind: keep it cool. +0

@Janos The Animal clip is hillarious... if the muppets can make a joke about it, its obviously a universal bone of contention.

There is only one way to learn anything, and that is by doing it. Wikiloops is a great
ground for trying new skills, and no one can learn anything new in a vacuum, without
constructive criticism from ones peers. I just hope Zack takes our critique on
this mix the right way. For a twelve year old, or anyone for that matter, it is still a brilliant try at the new skill of mixing, so keep
'em coming Zack. +0
