The long blank tail on the end of the track was the track I added to so I cropped it and reloaded it but it appears to still have a long tail. My bad it’s the drum track

Once a track is added you can’t delete the previous track. I’m using Cakewalk Sonar X1 LE

OK, don't k now that software. I use Audacity (which is free) and that lets you do anything really...
