Actually I think you can by using the red flag which gives you the option of cancelling it. If there have been other adds after yours, then it becomes difficult.

Good idea, but then do you want to have both? Just a hint: when members do continual takes of the same track it tends to have fewer people willing to listen. May not be important to you as this might just be a way to practice your playing and recording/mixing skills (which are excellent by the way).
