We Can't Stop
Il n'y a pas encore de remix de cette session !
Woke up at 2 am, couldn't sleep anymore, so I get on here, find this track and put some bass on it, it seems kind of moot after hearing all the other great bass adds - oh well it passed some of the dark hours away, cool funk jam, great job guys!

Hey Ernie, how long have those strings been on that bass? How often do you like to change strings?

hmmm good question, depending I have a number of basses, when I was playing hard in a band with one bass, every 4 - 6 months .. when the underside of the strings were groooved deep from the frets. I'm not a fussy string guy though, I've been using these ones I got off ebay ages ago ... $10 bux a set from China. Works alright for me.

Gotcha. I don't mind the nice warm sound mine have but the twang is nice for about a month when I change them.

there's a little trick where you can loosen your strings and snap them against your fretboard a few times ... brings back the twang for a little while, anyway ... I guess it drives the dirt out of the grooves in the roundwound.
