No idea what hat I'm wearing for this fab template of Alice's. TR-909? Linn Drum? No idea. Anyway, just trying to do a human drum machine impression on this fine piece of dance-pop. On my Spaun kit here. That kick drum is perfect for this sort of thing.
I did consider using Alby's excellent add too but there was no HD and also decided uploading here would allow more bass options for others. Kept the drums simple and driving thinking it ...

You're welcome, Alice. Love tracks like this - just sitting on the groove playing the beats. I wanted that 'programmed' or 'mechanical' feel but with a beat dynamism only real drums can give.
It's very challenging to play and requires a lot of focus to get on top of the beat and drive it home. +0
