Wes was such a fantastic musician. He could have played "Silent Night" and always swing.

Je me suis mis il y a quelques mois à jouer avec le pouce et parfois l'ongle de ce doigt. Au début on perd en vélocité mais le contact avec l'instrument est tellement plus direct. On cherche et parvient parfois à faire chanter l'instrument. J'ai un copain qui vient du rock et joue sur une Fender. Il découvre, en attaquant doucement les cordes, combien la Fender a un beau son boisé.

Merci Toul, tu m'apprends un super truc : jouer avec le pouce, je n'y aurais jamais pensé pour avoir ce son coloré et rond ! J'essayerai ça sur mes Hofner ! Ciao !

Que ce soit avec le pouce ou pas ce qui compte c'est d'avoir une attaque légère pour faire sonner la guitare. Ne pas monter le volume du potentiometre quitte à amplifier beaucoup. Si tu observes des vidéos de bons guitaristes rock tu constates qu'ils ont une attaque et même une main gauche très légère même si ils ont un son énorme.

Pour la main gauche vite sujette à la crispation, on peut faire comme certains pianistes: imaginer que la touche est brulante.
