Lol, I've been trying to find bands simillar to slough Feg or even tyr but the bands suggested by others have singers that sound too 80s or have too much growling. Can't find a happy medium. I just rediscovered Electric Wizzard. Good for when I'm in my Doom Metal mood. Definitely check out Slough Feg. We should go see them in the bay area sometime.

"growly" lol, the cookie monster singers I like to say :) Check out the band Balance of Power. A cross between Yngwie and Queensryche you might say. Don't know if they are still "active" really but they put out some interesting stuff.
