Sleepy jam
A live jam with Gerhard. Rhythm is completely off, but somehow works. Add anything.

Off rhythms works at its best for music such as this. And really,..your music is beautiful, I love the question and answer concept with the guitar and sax, work of geniuses!

You've mentioned that the two of you have played together for many years, but beyond that, there is a special kind of magic when you two play. It really is such a wonderful listening experience :)

I owe Gerhard a lot. He (inadvertently)trained me to watch a guitarist's hands. I never know what he's going to do chord-wise or rhythmically. This tune is totally out of the blue. He can't follow me, so I've got to follow him.

A nice bright contrast with the soft guitar sounds of Gerhard there Wade, lots of light and shade. Nice work :)

Thanks Shi. Just the way it turned out. Totally unplanned jam..no key no concepts, a real Gerhard job.

Thanks cschlote! Sometimes it's hard to know how others take the sound of the sopranino. I just love it. Good to know others are OK with the sound.

I really like your unique sopranino sound. And the instrument isn't that easy to play :-)

Got a secret about the sopranino...if you can play soprano (able to play in tune) the sopranino is easier.

This is really cool Wade. That connection from jamming together with the same artist is obvious , creates a symbiosis. Great track

Hey Frank...Playing with Gerhard has made it so that I can play with just about anybody. Hopefully there's a live jam in our future?

You think the rhythm is regular? Speed up, slow down, big break (Ritenuto). Gerhard is the most difficult guitarist (in terms of form/consistency) I've ever played with. A real challenge that helped me become a better listener/jammer.
