Musically a lovely add...just different having a soliloquy/monologue which is it's own story. The music adds to the music. If you like poetry being read to music then this is fine.
To me music goes straight to the emotions and senses. Words are precise and engage a different part of the brain. Might be just my limited perception of the use of words in music. For me it it flattens the potential of music and makes it two dimensional...limited. Singing at least incorporates the words musically, but they have to fit. Without the fit it also flattens the music.
We are fortunate to have many fine singers who are also great wordsmiths and make that vital fit. +1

I totally understand what you're saying Wade. Personally I like the duality of the spoken word mixed with music and the challenge to bring them together. I actually added reverb to the allgirl track to blend it in with the music more.
But at the end of the day, its all down to what you like :)

Oh, I agree, Wade. I personally enjoy the surreal music with the lyrics just a background not to be taken too seriously...if that makes sense. Thank you so much for your detailed response....always most welcome! :)
