In The End Of September
Beautiful track from Psycho, Steff and Alice. Went for a bit of a cross between Oasis and Ringo with the drums, just letting them clatter noisily away in the background. Removed my focussed 20" ride cymbal and used my 17" A Custom crash as a ride instead to get a bit more wash and noise. Also turned off all my noise gates to let all the mics bleed.

Not being a drummer I find it interesting that you describe what's happening and the gear you're using. Not sure I really get all of it, but it does focus my attention to those particular cymbals and drums and how they are used. Keep it up...I need the education and may even (eventually) be able to discriminate (and say something intelligent?) about the gear.
