What a fantastic song from Alice, and Adu's and Hurzel's add polishes what is already very polished! Took a few run-throughs to decide what to play - I originally considered brushes - but thought it could do with feeling a little more up-beat. The mix as a whole sounds a bit cold to me, or is that just my ungrateful studio monitors? Or maybe that's just the missing bass... +1

mpointon Thank you and I agree, Hurzel. I think part of it is the lack of bass but also I found it hard to mix myself in a suitable place because the vocals are very far forward from the music. I either drowned out the backing or disappeared! +0

mpointon It also could be there's too much top-end on the drums. My speaker's top-end isn't very good. +0
