I saw a steel pen on my desk and thought i wonder if this will work? Viola, my 1st attempt at slide guitar is born. Its messy but i had a bit of fun and that's what Wikiloops is all about.

Thanks Tof. I tried the chair but hurt my back and broke a string so now its pens and staplers all the way for me from now on.

Youth do not know what is a pen, they use their finger on a tactile screen or a keyboard... No future for slide! 😊

Thank you it was myfirst attempt at slide guitar. I have a parker pen which is metal and ive seen people play slide so I just tried it. It was fun its only a few notes. I,ll be doing some more. I suspect like most things its easy to do badly but hard to do well and the better you get the worse you think you are cos your understanding of the technique improves.
