Something about raking an Am arpeggio over a Reggae jam seemed blasphemous...but I think it sorta works after recording it. Thanks Cosimo.

Dick...harsh on the tone or the phrase/idea itself? I like getting input...especially on something like this where I try to take a different way than would be expected. Helps me grow to hear info from others. Would like the feedback if you would.

harsh on the sound, sounds like a screamin small amp to me - I like the sound itself, its just a little too load or present. I would have tried a little reverb and a little less volume to make it sound like you are standing in the band, not in front of it.
in fact, its cool to have something thats sounds loud, it doesnt actually have to be loud to achieve that ;) +0

Baer...listening to again I think I know exactly what you mean...the mix definitely did get away from me on this one and it's a melody more than a solo but mixed way up like a solo would be. Gonna try to add some verb and bring it down and should widen and fit more like a whole "piece". :) Thanks for the input, it's always great to get perspectives from others with ears :)
