Il Tello I think that percussion needs a different ambient in this contest, you could put voice on center "0" Pklesch lightly on the right max"20L" and you lightly on the left max"20R" add some reflections as reverb using just with Dry/Wet to balance the different attacks and volume between the instruments.
There're so many way to get this as duplicate track for reverb and on this works behind guitar, lowering the general volumes of percussion. After you can slide the two instruments and bring at the opposite, it's often using by mixer automation. But there isn't a strong point into the song to focus the right point of intersection ('cause there'll be more db when guitar and percussion will be at center..... ;) +0
