The story of a Swiss folk song: Ramseyer's sons are driving their hay wagon down the mountain. They do a bad job, and old Ramseyer makes fun of them. I've transcribed the vowels of the folk song into pentatonic MIDI and converted them into notes using the Korg Opsix. What's missing is old Ramseyer's musical commentary :D. Thanks for the drum track and for listening.

"This is fantastic. I love how immersive it is—it feels like you've created a world rather than just a track." +1

abuitremorem I'm glad you like it. I love experimenting. It's one thing to extract sounds from something, and another to give those sounds a voice. This could sound completely different :D +1

Interesting how the story colours the music that was derived from it. Great outcome! +1

abuitremorem Thanks - I was somehow trying to recreate the feeling of the hay wagon using the derived midi data. +0
