This song is perfect for me—Lucille just needs to let loose. As for me, I’m having a blast.

BluesyLucille Thanks Dammer. I've always enjoyed playing with a saxophonist. In a band I used to be in, the saxophonist and I were both soloists, and we often did that kind of thing—I loved it.. +1

dammer Nicee, you take the saxophone into account nicely and stay patient, that's sometimes hard for me. +1

BluesyLucille When I was a young guitarist, I wanted to play fast and show off everywhere. Now my wrist injury has opened my eyes; I play less with my fingers and more with my ears. I’ve focused more on interpretation than technique, and I’ve listened to a lot of music... I’m still a long way from the playing style I aspire to. I love Wikiloops because the musicians listen to each other. It’s fantastic! +1

dammer I think it's a good way of thinking, because at least I think there's always someone better, so it's not worth trying anything, just listening, enjoying and letting your creativity take you. Wikiloops is a great place to develop through others, everyone serves each other...
and illness is also a blessing.

BluesyLucille I realise that’s meant as a compliment. So thank you, Wade. When translated into French, it sounds a bit cryptic (‘angular takes’), but I’ve got the gist of it.😜 +1

BluesyLucille If it's the other way around, don't hold back—I welcome criticism from my friends. It's constructive.🤗😂 +1

Wade The track has mixes of chord structure and two other "voices" had already stretched the musical fabric. Your add accommodated both which made it angular, but not "free jazz" There is logic. +1

BluesyLucille Thanks, Wade, for the explanation. I could only have explained it because I’ve heard so many harmonies like this that I’ve memorized them. The only theory I know a little bit about is building chords through a sequence of thirds and, from there, finding the corresponding fingerings on the fretboard. Learning chords from chord charts was tedious and not very productive. At the time, it opened me up to sounds much richer than those commonly used in rock. Since then, I’ve forgotten the names of the chords but kept their richness in my memory. +1
