I went back in to the DAW original template, changed amps, settings, levels, and added 1 extra guitar. Better? I'm not sure but the other guitar version seemed a little abrasive to me as far as levels and tones of guitars. Hopefully an improvement but had fun messing around with things if nothing else. PS....Ernies mix was great..The point of remixing was to change my original guitars which i thought sound too distorted and loud on the original template ...

Hi Craig, this is an interesting track. Compared to Ernie's mix, to my ears there's a phase issue in the higher frequencies starting around 0:24. I don't know if you hear it too, or if you're using it as an intentional stylistic choice. I'm learning something new! :D +1

Major 3rd I have no idea what you are referring to when you say phase issue?lol (don't know what that means) ;O) It's just when the rock phrase comes in and it cycles through the song...it's actually the verse. The intro was the chorus part. On the other version I was noting the guitars were more distorted and louder (sounded like a mess to me)..All i did here was lower the amount of distortion used and lower the guitar levels for more clarity in tone...they seemed too overpowering before. The bass was untouched. The bass always sounds good. My remix effort was nothing to do with the bass part but just my guitar levels and tones...thanks for the listen & sharing your feedback!:D If all that makes any sense...Maybe I should just say yes stylistic choice...haha😂 rock jazz fusion..something like that. +2
